Watched 'Blow' starring Johnny Depp and Penelope Cruz. The movie traces the life and times of a marijuana dealer. Prison is an inevitable part of a drug dealer's life. In this case, prison serves as crime school, where Depp enters with a Bachelor's in marijuana and leaves with a Master's in cocaine:D . The highs and lows in his life(pun intended) change him forever. It's all based on a true story.
The only thing good about 'Man of Steel' was Henry Cavill and how HOT he was. The rest of the movie can't even be called a snoozefest coz it was too effing noisy to even doze off. The amazing part is I nodded off several times during the movie only to be rudely awakened by jarring, loud sound effects!
Watched 'Runaway Jury' based on John Grisham's best-seller of the same name. Brought back memories of high school when I would devour his books. John Cusack, Gene Hackman, Rachel Weisz and Dustin Hoffman star in this film about jury selection, jury manipulation, purchase of verdicts and other unethical practices in the justice system.
